Barbara Ama Aboagye

Barbara is a curious learner with Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on materials and structures in the environment at Ecole Centrale Nantes, France. She also had her Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from KNUST, Ghana. 

Away from academia, she volunteers to support tech driven and youth-oriented programs to broaden her scope in new technological developments in the digital era. She strongly believes in STEM which is the basis of her interest in the adoption of STEM as a solution for sustainable change. 

Barbara’s lifelong dream is to construct affordable housing for Africans, using plastic bottles and alternative source of material apart from cement. Her favorite quote is “If not now, then when, if not you, then who?’’ She is passionate about financial literacy and wealth management. Barbara aspires to be a teacher someday.

“In about 10 years, I envision CFLE-Africa should be able to create an environment that exudes power and motivates the African to be more financially aware and financially literate with solid financial plans for their families and themselves.”
