National Financial Awareness and Financial Literacy Conference
The National Financial Awareness and Financial Literacy Conference (NFAFL Con) is a flagship event designed to elevate the conversation around financial literacy in Ghana and across Africa. It brings together thought leaders, policymakers, financial professionals, educators, youth leaders, students and the media to deliberate on key financial issues affecting individuals and communities. The conference features high-impact keynote speeches, panel discussions, exhibitions, and breakout sessions that address topics such as personal finance, budgeting, savings, debt management, investing, and financial inclusion.
 
NFAFL Con serves as a platform for collaboration and innovation, helping to build a financially informed and empowered society.
 
The National Financial Awareness & Financial Literacy Conference takes place every April as an opening ceremony and official launch for celebrating April – Financial Literacy Month Campaign. It is a national platform for meaningful personal and business financial conversions.
 
National Estate and Gift Planning Awareness Conference

The National Estate and Gift Planning Awareness Conference (NEGPA Con) is a strategic initiative focused on promoting legacy planning and intergenerational wealth transfer education. The conference educates the public on essential topics such as wills, trusts, inheritance laws, philanthropy, and estate tax planning. Legal experts, financial planners, estate managers, and religious leaders converge to simplify complex concepts and promote proactive planning. NEGPA Con is crucial in breaking the cycle of poverty and preserving family wealth by empowering individuals and communities to make informed long-term financial decisions.

The National Estate and Gift Planning Awareness Conference is an opening ceremony for celebrating October as Estate & Gift Planning Awareness Month Campaign. It takes place every October.

Market Outreaches – For Market Women and Informal Sectors

Market Outreaches are grassroots financial education campaigns targeting market women, traders, and informal sector workers. These outreach programs deliver practical and relatable financial education in local languages, addressing real-life issues such as money management, savings, small business finance, mobile banking, and group contributions (susu). By using community facilitators and peer educators, the initiative strengthens the financial resilience of informal workers and enhances their ability to make informed financial decisions in their day-to-day lives.

Rural Community Outreaches – For Farmers, Rural Communities, etc.

Rural Community Outreaches aim to bring financial education to the most underserved and remote communities. Through partnerships with local leaders, cooperatives, and schools, this program organizes townhall-style workshops and mobile clinics where farmers, artisans, and community members learn about financial literacy, agricultural finance, cooperative savings, and digital financial services. The outreach emphasizes inclusive development, helping rural populations access financial tools and resources that can enhance their productivity and improve their livelihoods.

Financial Literacy Challenge & Contest – For High School Students

The Financial Literacy Challenge & Contest is a vibrant national competition that engages high school students in a fun and educational way. In partnership with SAGE Ghana, the initiative uses quizzes, debates, and creative presentations to test students’ understanding of core financial topics such as budgeting, saving, investment, entrepreneurship, and digital finance. The program nurtures critical thinking, teamwork, and confidence, while preparing the next generation of financially responsible leaders and innovators.

Monthly Money Matters Convo – Monthly Financial Discussions

Monthly Money Matters Convo is an enriching series of virtual and in-person conversations where professionals, academics, and youth discuss trending financial topics. Held every month, these sessions aim to promote financial literacy through storytelling, expert insights, Q&As, and panel discussions. Each episode features a specific theme, such as managing student loans, planning for retirement, starting a business, or investing in cryptocurrency. The platform fosters continuous learning and builds a supportive community of financially conscious individuals.

Community Service Financial Advocate Training Program
The Community Service Financial Advocate Training Program is a certified short course designed to build a network of grassroots financial literacy advocates. Participants, including community leaders, teachers, and volunteers, are trained in financial education delivery, coaching techniques, and ethical standards. Graduates of the program are empowered to lead financial literacy campaigns, advise individuals in their communities, and contribute to national development. This program is a sustainable approach to scaling financial education across Ghana and beyond.
